  •   Everest trek with Gokyo is one of the popular trek in Nepal. This trekking route takes you through shrepa villages such as Namche Bazaar, Thanga, Machermo. This trek follows Dudh Koshi river to its source at Gokyo lake which is west of evrest base camp.The massive Ngozumpa glacier and paranomic view of thr khumbu Himalyas like view of Mt.Everset, Lhoste, Nupste,Makalu, Cho-Oyo and many more.

  • Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival

     Our Travel representative will pick you up at the Tribhuvan International Airport(Kathmandu) and Transfer to the hotel by private car . The rest of the day is for leisure.

    Day 02 : Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860 m) to phakding(2,610 m)

    After you have your breakfast, you will drive to the airport to embark for Lukla. the breathtaking views of mountains and rivers will make the approximately 40 minutes flight remarkable before landing on Tenzing -Hillary airport, named after the pioneer invaders of the Everset.After necessary arrangements/rearrangements you will start heading towards Phadking which is reached at about 4 hours of moderate walking.

    Day 03 :Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar

    Following a trail through pine forest and crosssing few suspension bridges, you willl arrive at a small settlement called Benkar which is the gateway to Sagarmatha National Park. After necessary formalities, you will continue towards Namche Bazaar, the major market of Everest region, which teems with shops and hotels of diverse standards .

    Day 04 : Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar

    Acclimatization is an important part of trekking, especially those involving larger height gains it minimize the chance of complications due to abrupt altitude changes. For this reason you will stay another night at Namche Bazaar before continuning to Tengboche. Nonetheless, you will find your rest day at Namche  worthwhile which accommodates -apart from hotels-banks, govermant offices, cyber cafes and resturants, bakeries, massage parlours, trekking gear shops, etc. Or you may attempt short hikes to khumbu or Thame to improve your stamina.

    Day 05 : Trek from Namche Bazaar to Phungi Thanga (3,246 m)

    Moving on, we make our way down a long and mostly shaded hill to Phungi Thanga, a small settlement on the river. Phungi Thanga is the lowest section of the trial North of Namche Bazaar .

    Day 06 : Phungi Thanga to Dhole(4,110 m)

    The trek continues to Dhole by the same route to Base camp. You will get chance to see panoramic views of various mountains, rhododendorn and brich forest with hanging mosses and Lichens .

    Day 07 : Dhole to Machermo(4465 m)

    After a walk in wonderful landscape you arrive above Machermo which is small settlement in a wide side valley. Machermo is also known for the home of a rescue post. You will see the native bird life and marvel at the mountain flowers, enjoying views of Cho_oyu to the North.

    Day 08 : Machermo ( Rest day sightseeing)

    Before heading towrds Gokyo, it is the good idea to have a free day in Machermo. You can spend time in Mochermo is to ascend the hill above the settlement, slightly to the north . You will get chance to see the wonderful views of Cho-Oyu, Cholatse, Taboche and also Everest or you can wlk up the valley towards the west following the course of the Machemo river.

    Day 09 :Machermo(Gokyo Lakes ) (4,800)

    Machermo peak (6237 m) climbing is challenging trekking peaks located in Everest region, on the way to Gokyo lake which is open for climbing under Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). Gokyo lakes is populated with its amazing high altitude ducks.Before Gokyo, there us a chautara(resting place) covered with prayer flags and Gokyo village can be seen from here.

    Day 10: Sunrise excursion to Gokyo Ri (5,333m) to Machermo base camp

    You will start your day early by climbing up to the top of Gokyo Ri which have stunning views of the upper Gokyo Valley, The massive Ngozumpa glacier and paranomic view of the Khumbu Himalayas Like view of Mt Everest, Lhoste , Nuptse, Makalu, Cho-Oyu and many more . After wonderful views in Gokyo our trek finally descend down  to Machermo Base camp.

    Day 11: Machermo Base camp to Namche Bazaar
